Sustainable Fashion Designer, Dress-maker, and Crafter

Educated and trained in fashion design and dressmaking in London, Bangkok and Hong Kong, Fa has produced handmade bespoke clothing under the “Pisamai Harrington, Handmade Couture” and “Fa Harrington, Limited Edition” label since 2005.

Since 2009, she has been running highly popular fashion design, pattern cutting and sewing courses at ITS Education Asia in Hong Kong and Thailand. As well as workshops and short-courses, she has developed a full diploma course and fashion business consultancy. Fa is also a published author having released a debut novel in 2007 and a follow up in 2008, and contributed as a columnist to Thai magazines since 2006.

She holds several degrees and qualifications:

B.A. (Hons) in Fashion Design from the University of Huddersfield, UK,
BTEC Higher Diploma in Textile design from HK Art Centre, Hong Kong
– B.A .in Marketing from Ramkamhaeng University, Bangkok, Thailand
Post-graduate certificate in Business from Charles Sturt University, NSW, Australia,
– Other credentials in textile design, printing, dress-making from various art/design schools in UK, and BKK.

Fa Fashion Project is her own venture which aims to broaden the appeal of fashion through dressmaking, organic fabrics, fashion shows, pattern downloads, craft open days and fashion courses and dressmaking courses in English at ITS Education Asia. She also designs and hand makes a range of cloth dolls with their own couture clothes collections.

Mui Wong

Fashion design lecturer, Hong Kong

Miu Wong first graduated with a Fashion Design Masters Degree with credit from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and completed his PhD in 2018. He has gained extensive experience in the fashion and design industry, specifically in the fields of fashion graphic design, hotel and bank uniform, costume design, accessory design and visual merchandising. In addition, he has worked for various fashion brands such as BCBGMAXAZRIA and Faith Connection. Currently, Miu works as a fashion design instructor in various universities in Hong Kong. Prior to joining the ITS/Fashion Project collaboration, he has taught courses including sewing application, fashion illustration, presentation, history of fashion culture, CAD in fashion design, fashion drafting and pattern making.

Amanda Chow
Amanda has been Creative Designer at Triumph lingerie since 2007. This followed an early career in lingerie in Hong Kong firms after she had completed her BA from HK Poly U in Intimate Apparel. She found her niche in lingerie when taking an earlier Higher Dip in Fashion and Textile Studies also at HKPU. Fluent in English and Chinese and with a grat range of experience in both academia and industry, Amanda brings real expertise to our lingerie courses.

Kenny Choi
Kenny Choi has worked as a fashion and graphic designer. He is very enthusiastic to work in creative field. His achievements in fashion design earned him many awards in the previous years, such as champion and the best marketability award in the CUSCS Fashion Show. He has also earned the winner of men’s shoes individual award and silver of Sabatina creative award winner in the 5th international footwear design competition, and the awards winner in ladies shoes of the Hong Kong footwear design competition. Leena Lempinen
Leena Lempinen is an accomplished and creative make-up artist and has been working in the beauty industry for over 20 years in Hong Kong and overseas. She works with various event and production companies, photographers and is also a freelance MUA with the Mandarin Oriental Salon.

She is ITEC (UK) qualified Make-up Artist and Beauty Specialist and regularly runs Make-up and Beauty Workshops in various establishments.
